We're passionate about the quality of our work
Based on the Surrey/Hampshire border near Farnham, our shop and workshop are fully equipped to provide the highest standard of production and finish on every item.

Our new shop is an Aladdin's Cave of pattern books featuring fabrics, wallpapers, poles and trimmings from all the major design houses including GP&J Baker, Osbourne & Little, Colefax & Fowler, Zimmer + Rhode, Zoffany, Nobilis and many more.
My team of curtain and blind makers, loose cover cutters and pelmet and cushion makers are highly skilled and have all been trained within the company.
I oversee all the work that is carried out by keeping our total production in house and, in this way, we maintain our reputation for high quality.

About Me
I have always loved to sew and make things, my particular enjoyment coming from being able to make something with a really good finish.

After 'A' levels (including needlework!) I trained as a costume maker, following which I worked in London on a freelance basis. I cut and made costumes for many productions on stage and screen, The Last Emperor, Absolute Beginners, A Police pop video, and even a Smash advert!
I also started to work for a top interior designer/maker training me in all areas of the business.
After several years I made the move out to Surrey with my young family and started up a soft furnishings business from home. As demand grew and I needed more space, I took on my first tiny workshop on Mellow Farm in early '99.
Within a short space of time I was taking on members of staff, since then I have had two expansions of workroom space and now employ a staff of seven.
Whilst being busy with the overseeing and management of the whole business, I still enjoy keeping a very active hand in the every day making processes which enables me to quality check and always be on hand to answer questions from both staff and clients.
